The Federal Government (CMS) has recently mandated that EVERYONE working for a facility (nursing home or hospital) that accepts Federal funding (Medicare and Medicaid) are required to be fully vaccinated (or present a medical or religious waiver). As part of your training to become a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) you are required to attend clinical sessions, which are held in nursing homes. Clinical is a necessary component of the STNA process. Without completing Clinicals you cannot sit for the State Licensing exam. Therefore proof of vaccination status or waiver is required before you can attend clinical. This mandate is not a Med-Cert rule as we have nothing to do with your vaccination choice. However, as part of your instruction we must make you aware of the Federal Mandate.
This 76 hour course prepares you to take The Ohio State Board of Nursing exam for nursing assistants. Our program prepares you to perform assigned functions of personal care to patients in their residence, long-term care facility, hospital, assisted living or hospice. Once submitted, you will be redirected to the payment page to make your down payment and reserve a place in the program of your choice.
